TCHF of Oregon Launches "Kids Helping Kids" Campaign

***** Launched at the TCHF of Oregon 2015 Benefit on October 3rd, 2015 *****

Many of you have children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews who may be getting to that age where they become aware of social issues and the concept of “helping others”.  They have seen your support of the TCHF Mission and may have even expressed an interest in contributing in some small way themselves.  We want to encourage this activism at an early age and have designed a new initiative to facilitate that.

Introducing our new fundraising initiative for 2015-2016.  We are calling it “Kids Helping Kids” and here’s how it works.  Challenge your children, grandchildren or nieces/nephews to raise money to support the TCHF.  You decide on the amount that each child needs to raise, what they can do to earn that money and how you will match those funds. One group of kids within one extended family can be challenged by multiple adults.  We were pleased to accept the inaugural check in the amount of $250 from the Deibele/Klosterman children at the Benefit and will deposit these funds as the seed money toward our goal of $5000.

Our goal this first year is to raise $5000 on behalf of the children in our families.  In order for us to track the progress toward that goal, please fill out the official form that you received in your packet when you checked in with your family information and return it to us.  The deadline for submission in order to be included in the 2016 Benefit is September 1, 2016.
