Arianne Wenk is a current medical school student that we met during a trip to Creel in 2012. We have enjoyed staying in touch with her are she finished her undergraduate studies and moved on to medical school and are so impressed by her dedication not only to medicine but to helping those in need. Arianne is in communcation with both Fr. Miguel and Fr. David and we hope that she will continue her association with the Mission in Creel or wherever else her interests take her. Thank you from the TCHF of Oregon and continued success!
The Fund-An-Item for 2015 was “Water for Life”. Even though the Copper Canyon has seen moderate precipitation in recent years the challenge still remains for dependable and safe access to clean drinking water. A comprehensive scientific survey of the existing conditions is being managed by Schneider Water Services of St.
"What a terrific event!", was heard throughout the dining room as the evening came to a close. We celebrated our 18th Annual Benefit this past Saturday at the Riverside Golf & Country Club with about 160 supporters in attendance. Mission Director, Fr. Miguel Quintanilla, S.J. was in attendance but our old friend Fr. David Ungerldeider was not able to attend due to prior commitments.
Thank you very much to local quilters and long time supports of the TCHF Delores Piller and Pat Swanson for their 245th quilt donation.

As we approach the end of the year and each of the three main chapters of the TCHF hold their annual fundraising events, we want to give a brief update on the 2014 Fund-An-Item (FAI), "Facilities, Health and Safety Upgrades". We deeply apprecaite the support that you all give each year towards the FAI and think that it is our responsibility to let you know when the project is fulfilled on a timely basis.
Thank you one all for another great event. It is hard to believe that it has already been 17 years and we could not have accomplished anything without the help of our many friends, benefactors and board members. Once again hosted by the Riverside Golf & Country Club here in Portland, we were welcomed by clear and sunny skies after a morning of questionable weather. Special thanks to Kenneth and Valerie Troyer for once again taking the role of Presenting Sponsor in honor of Valerie's late father and early board member Donald MuCullough. Finally, great thanks and gratitude to the Org
